Electrical biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: March, Cambs
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: 16:00 to 01:00 Mon - Fri
As Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance on fully automated production and packaging lines. This is a varied and challenging role where you will be expected to work on a diverse range of PLC controlled machinery which includes sortation, grading, washers, cooking vessels, conveyors, robot pick and place systems, variety of packaging systems including (vacuum form packaging, vertical form fill packaging), check weighers, printers, labelling machines and automated handling systems and facilities maintenance.
For the role you will need to be able to demonstrate a background in either Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineering, gained ideally within a fast paced FMCG/Food manufacturing environment. These roles would suit individuals that have ideally completed multi-skilled training, but must possess very good electrical installation and fault finding skills. Education level for this position would be City and Guilds / Apprenticeship or level of engineering qualification.
Shifts for this role will be a back shift with an indicative shift pattern of 16:00 to 13:00 Monday to Friday.
